Candidates forum at library on Tuesday

A candidates forum has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the Rotary Room of Baldwin Public Library. "Come listen to the candidates who will work for all of us, not just the speculators," says the invitation, signed by Paul Marion Reagan, Jim Neuhard and Norman Fill. The sponsors have invited Mayor Tom McDaniel, Commissioner Scott Moore and challengers Seth Chafetz and George Dilgard, but Shelli Weisberg and Gordon Rinschler (the candidates who will work for just the speculators?) are expected to attend, too. Library Director Marti Custer says meetings at the library are open to all, and cannot be closed.
