Booth Park dedication set for Oct. 14

The dedication of Booth Park has been set for Sunday, Oct. 14, at 1:30 p.m. A few improvements to the park will be unveiled, including the addition of bronze plaques to the donor wall. The city will provide refreshments. Come on out and celebrate the new park. For many, it will be a chance to reconnect with fellow workers from the community build.

  1. well bring your stadium buddies.  Cause if nature calls… well you know… I see refreshments mentioned and naturally thought of the fact that even with millions spent, there is no bathrooms.  So reconnect and be proud of your beautiful park.  It is awesome by all standards.  But it is back to the bush’s if nature really does call....

  2. censoring ones posts that have no profanity or personal attacks seems sorta not right.  did you lose my post Clinton, or was it just to racy for your audience?

I guess any criticism of the park that includes the fact they spent millions and did not see fit to include bathrooms is not noteworthy in your estimation.  I appreciate it is your web site, but I for one consider the non post to be somewhat Bush/Cheney like.

very disappointing to see honest debate squelched.

  3. didn’t lose it; wasn’t too racy. i have other things on my mind lately, duke. every now and then, the buzz comes back on my radar. they didn’t spend millions, by the way. they spend just under a million. and i am a proponent of public restrooms. if you’d like to help champion the cause, join those involved rather than berate them needlessly from the sidelines. call your city manager and city commissioners and tell them what you think. then tell me and the rest of the buzz readership what you found.
